Crescent Neighborhood Association

Crescent neighbors have long enjoyed getting together, sharing information, and looking out for each other. As Muskegon County continues to grow and develop, though, the Crescent neighbors realized we would need more organized representation to have a seat at the decision-making table about our community.

In 2019, several neighbors participated in a photography-based research project called the South Heights Photovoice Initiative. During this process, which entailed meeting weekly over the course of several months to identify strengths and areas of concern in their community, the group determined it was time to officially form a neighborhood association. Through this organization, residents of the Crescent Neighborhood are empowered in determining our vision the our community, and the path we seek to take to get there.
